Sloan is a 2021 filly from the legendary and reputable Krogman Quarter Horses Program. Her sire Lonestars was shown and is an own son of the memorable One Time Pepto. His dam was a money earning daughter of the great Grays Starlight. Her dam: Krogs Sassy Cat was shown in the Dakota Cutting Classic as a 3 year old. Krogs Sassy Cat was sired by Can’t Kick This Cat an exceptional stud at the head of the Krogman Program. He had produced several high money earners in the NCHA. She is Ranching Heritage eligible. Sloan began her training in June of this year 2023. She spent 90 days in cowhorse training with Conner James. Conner is an excellent trainer and an up and comer in the show pen. Conner really enjoyed Sloan and is the one who truly saw her potential. She is a 🚨BIG STOPPER🚨. She craves it! She has the basics and has developed a nice correct handle. She has been on cattle, and she gets the business! When she came home, I rode her outside and she learned to travel. She roped yearlings, and doctored calves both with someone and solo. We have tracked around some cattle in the arena to both explore her potential as a breakaway or heel prospect. Sloan also has a great disposition. She loves attention and thus far has taken time off without getting fresh. She has been shod all the way around and is great to handle. She loads, ties, bathes. Etc. " |
